| Hello ttnetters. I don't post much on here anymore, but do haunt this site for continued valuable information that comes my way. For about 6 years I've been driving with my Corbeau Forzas while my stock 1990tt leather seats are in storage. Now that the Corbs are getting older, I'm considering putting back my stock seats. Given that the driver's side seat with its adjustment motors weighs 67+ pounds, I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the motor from it and get it down to the weight of the passenger seats at ~46 pounds--that is, is this a Pita or a DIY? If I recall, when I had the OEM seats, I barely adjusted anything. Disciplined by non-adjustable lightweight seats thereafter, I doubt I'd care if I don't adjust my OEM seats again (after setting in the right position of course). I don't see a discussion of this in my searches. Thanks in advance.
